Episode 148 – Explicit language and Luminary, a discussion with Daniele Bolelli and Dave Jackson
This is another discussion about the do's and don’ts in the podcasting world. This is a follow-up to another discussion I had with Christopher Lochhead and Super Joe Pardo in Episode 143 about charging guests for podcasts. This time around we discus the use of explicit language in podcasts with former Eric Hunley Unstructured guests Daniele Bolelli and Dave Jackson.
Dave also points out in this episode that podcasts can be removed from the iTunes catalog if there are any episodes that feature explicit language. This rule applies in the following countries: Bahrain; Belarus; Brunei; Darussalam; Burkina Faso; Chad; Egypt; India; Jordan; Lebanon; Nepal; Oman; Qatar; Saudi Arabia; Tunisia; United Arab Emirates; Uzbekistan and Yemen (credit to Daniel J Lewis). We then move on to also discuss Daniele's work on Luminary and what it takes to create one of the worlds most popular history podcasts in the world.
