Episode 236 – Gina Osborn FBI Special Agent
Gina Osborn first enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1986 as a counterintelligence special agent. She then spent six-years working during the cold war while serving as the highest-profile espionage agent within the European theater. Ten years later Gina would also become a special agent for the FBI.
Life in FBI
During her 22 years she had numerous assignments, that included investigating Asian organized crime on a task force in California. As well as the little Saigon District of Orange County and also supervising counterterrorism investigations in Southeast Asia. Gina later became the assistant special agent in charge of the Cyber and Computer Forensics Programs in Los Angeles before she retired. She also carried out investigations relating to national security and criminal computer intrusions for over 11 years. Osborn has become a great interactive keynote speaker. She makes use of all the knowledge she has gained through her 28 years of law enforcement career. Gina shares all her lessons of leadership, team building, humanity, and communication.
Behind the Crime Scene
Osborn hosts a podcast with Prosecutor Tracy Miller which is called Behind the Crime Scene. The podcast focuses on notorious cases that haunted crime fighters throughout their careers. Each episode dwells in the world of some of the worst crimes in the United State history. Gina goes behind the scenes to reveal how these cases have consequences in the lives of the heroes who responded to them. She is also the director of the Girl Scouts of Orange County.
